R&D Air ring
The CYLB Air Ring is designed for approximately 1-inch (25 mm) die heads and is intended for laboratory blown film extrusion, R&D testing, and pilot-scale trials rather than commercial production. Its compact design allows researchers and material developers to evaluate polymer processing, masterbatch and additive formulations, and biodegradable or bio-based materials using only small quantities of raw material.
Polymer Testing
The CYLB Air Ring enables researchers to evaluate the Blow-Up Ratio (BUR), melt strength, and bubble stability of newly developed, modified, or recycled polymer resins, including LDPE, HDPE, LLDPE, PA, EVOH, PLA, and PP. Its laboratory-scale design allows these processing characteristics to be evaluated using only a small quantity of raw material, making it suitable for early-stage material development and formulation testing.
Masterbatch and Additive Evaluation
The CYLB Air Ring enables masterbatch developers and additive suppliers to evaluate pigment dispersion, gel content, and optical properties in blown film applications. Its laboratory-scale configuration minimizes material consumption, making it practical for testing new formulations and evaluating performance without using large quantities of valuable or costly materials.
Biodegradable Material Analysis
